Server information
To set up your email account in email programs (like Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.), you'll need some details about the mail server, as well as your username and password.
Two Types of Email Account Settings:
- POP (or POP3): Emails are deleted from the server after they are downloaded to your device, or after a certain number of days.
- IMAP: Emails are stored on the server, allowing you to access your emails from multiple devices. It's recommended to use IMAP, but remember that emails will take up space on the server. Regularly delete emails to prevent your mailbox from getting full.
